FedEx Holiday Shipping Deadlines to Know

December 15, 2021: Normal FedEx service.
- Last day to send FedEx Ground and Home Delivery packages scheduled for delivery on Dec. 24.
December 21, 2021: Normal FedEx service.
- Last day to send FedEx Express Saver packages scheduled for delivery on Dec. 24.
December 22, 2021: Normal FedEx service.
- Last day to ship FedEx 2nd Day Express packages scheduled for delivery on Dec. 24.
December 23, 2021: Normal FedEx service.
- Last day to ship via FedEx Overnight services.

FedEx Money-Back Guarantee

The FedEx Money-Back Guarantee for all services will be suspended from November 1, 2021, until January 16, 2022. In past years, FedEx still guaranteed express package shipments to arrive by a specific time. This year, everything has changed. If you want a package to arrive by a guaranteed date, ship it early to allow FedEx time for delay.

- Last day to ship UPS 2nd Day Air packages for delivery on Friday, Dec. 24.
December 23, 2021: Normal UPS service
- Last day to ship UPS Next Day Air® packages for delivery on Friday, Dec. 24.
December 24, 2021: Normal delivery service
- UPS Next Day Air packages picked up Dec. 24 will be scheduled for delivery on Monday, Dec. 27.

UPS Money-Back Guarantee

The UPS service guarantee is back for some express services. The UPS Service Guarantee has been reinstated for next-day air, worldwide express, and worldwide saver shipments.

Effective October 18, 2021, UPS is adjusting the guaranteed service refunds. Delivery commitment times for UPS Next Day Air to residential locations with a delivery time of 10:30 AM are extended to noon.

Peak surcharges may apply to shipments during designated peak shipping periods. These additional charges apply to packages with the following surcharges: additional handling, large package surcharge and over maximum limits.
